Gargoyles, also known as Devil Dogs, were stone statues found within London's Cathedral. They were brought to life due to the evil magic of Zarok's spell book.
Gameplay
Strategy
The Devil Dogs disguise themselves as ordinary statues, just like the Flying Demons. If Dan approaches them (or finds a Lost Soul), they will attack him. The easiest way to defeat them is to use the Magic Sword, or if Sir Dan still has Chicken Drumsticks, he can use those as well, since they are one of only seven enemies in the entire game vulnerable to them.

Notes
- ↑ Despite these enemies having souls, there is no Chalice to collect in Cathedral Spires.
