Cauldrons were large pots for cooking or boiling over an open fire. During medieval times in the kingdom of Gallowmere, cauldrons were often a sign that a witch resided nearby. In the late 19th century, several cauldrons would pour scalding oil down the Cathedral Spires in London.

Sir Dan can use a Witch Talisman to summon a witch when standing near a cauldron.
MediEvil 2
Cauldrons appear in the Cathedral Spires level. They pour down scalding oil which deals 21 HP of damage.
