Cats were small carnivorous mammals found in the Asylum Grounds. Jack of the Green used them as part of his third riddle.
Gameplay

Cats will move around the maze during Jack of the Green's third riddle. Take care not to let one of the cats near the mouse, because they'll scare it away, prompting Sir Dan to start over again.
