    History

    13th century

When the Hero of Gallowmere's crypt was built after his death in 1286, a stained glass window was installed in one of its rooms where the hero was depicted riding a horse and fighting a dragon.[1][2]

    14th century

It is alleged that the resurrected Hero of Gallowmere noted in his personal journal that a cannon on the Ghost Ship was "the size of a shire horse."[3] Another account states that the champion of the villainous sorcerer Zarok, Lord Kardok, rode a huge skeletal steed into battle.[1][2]
