Griffins were legendary creatures with the bodies, tails, and back legs of a lion, and the heads and wings of an eagle with their talons on the front legs.
History
It is unknown whether griffins ever truly existed. However, a griffin was a part of Isibod Brunel's heraldic achievement.[1]
