Woden's Brand

PLEASE NOTE: The subject of this article originates from MediEvil: Resurrection, which is considered apocryphal, i.e. to be outside of the accepted canon. See GP:CANON for more information.

Woden's Brand was a weapon that Sir Dan bought off a Merchant Gargoyle in Gallowmere Plains for all 8 Carnival Tokens obtainable there. It was the strongest weapon in Gallowmere, having the capability of killing most foes in one swing. It was a two-handed weapon and shields could not be used with it.

Gameplay

Overview

Despite its name, Woden's Brand is not given to Sir Dan by Woden the Mighty. Instead, the weapon is obtained by finishing all the mini games in Gallowmere Plains and buying it from the local Merchant Gargoyle with the awarded Carnival Tokens. This makes it one of seven weapons that aren't collected from the Hall of Heroes, the others being the ArmWooden Sword, Short Sword, Club, Throwing Daggers, and Chicken Drumsticks. Woden's Brand also doesn't have its own book in Dan's Crypt's training room. This is because it is functionally the same as the Magic Sword.
