Bears were carnivoran mammals.
History
14th century
It is said that an Undead Carnival in Gallowmere Plains awarded teddy bears[a] to anyone who managed to throw a maggot in an open wound.[1][1.1]
18th century
Teddy bears also appeared as prizes in London's freakshow.[2]
