For the record, all mummies are extremely combustible and therefore should not be subjected to flame attack, unless that is one wants to see them dancing around on fire for several seconds before expiring.

Al-Zalam, about a mummy in Dan's Crypt.

Mummies were Gallowmere's undead elite who had returned from the dead to walk amongst the living. They were buried in the Gallows Gauntlet.

Gameplay

MediEvil

Strategy

They are mostly larger versions of zombies, only they move slightly slower, do much more damage to Dan (70 HP), and take many more hits to kill.

Behind the scenes

In real life

A mummy is a deceased human or animal whose skin and organs have been preserved by either intentional or accidental exposure to chemicals, extreme cold, very low humidity, or lack of air, so that the recovered body does not decay further if kept in cool and dry conditions.

Notes

  1. Damage resistances were not re-implemented in the 2019 remake of MediEvil. This means that, unlike in the original game, all enemies take the same amount of damage from Dan's weapons.
