The Broad Sword (剣士の剣) is a weapon in MediEvil.
Description and usage
It's the second sword Daniel can receive and the second best sword in the game. It's much stronger than the Small Sword and gives Dan a wider arc of attack. It is given to Dan by Woden the Mighty after collecting five chalices. It can be enchanted by Merchant Gargoyles for 100G to deal additional damage. If stolen by an Imp, it can be bought back for 1200G. The sword becomes obsolete once Dan obtains the Magic Sword, a broadsword that is permanently enchanted.
