Dinosaurs were a diverse group of reptiles of the clade Dinosauria. They became the dominant terrestrial vertebrates after the Triassic–Jurassic extinction event and their dominance continued throughout the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Birds were also feathered theropod dinosaurs, and constituted the only known living dinosaurs.

History

19th century

Several skeletal remains of extinct dinosaurs were on display in the Kensington Museum. These exhibits were brought to life by the magic of Lord Palethorn. Sir Daniel Fortesque defeated them on his way out of the museum.[1]
