Venus, or Aphrodite, was the Greco-Roman goddess of love.
History
19th century
The Great Museum in Kensington, London, had what seemed to be two mural recreations of the Venus de Milo statue in its foyer in 1886. More such murals appeared in the Age of the Dinosaurs exhibit past the central circular room of the museum.[1]

Venus de Milo
The Venus de Milo is an ancient Greek sculpture found on the island of Milos in 1820. It is believed to have been sculpted in the 2nd century BC. It has been displayed in the Louvre in France since 1821.
