The following is a list of all games that contain cameos or references to MediEvil, sorted by release date.

    1996 - Creatures

    Zarok in Creatures.

An image of Zarok can be found in Albia. This is because the backgrounds for the world of Creatures were composited by Jason Riley who also rendered all the full motion videos for MediEvil.[1]

1999 - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The character Florean Fortescue, an expert on medieval witch burnings, is named after Sir Dan. This is because the author met MediEvil programmer Matt Johnson on a train where they discussed what they were working on.[2][3]

    2000 - Everybody's Golf 2

    Main article: Sir Daniel Fortesque
    Sir Dan.

Sir Dan appears as an unlockable guest character in the American and European version of the game. The player can unlock him by beating him in versus mode. Although Dan's design in the game itself is based on his appearance in the first MediEvil, promotional renders featuring him use his appearance from MediEvil 2 instead.

    2003 - Primal

A model of dan-hand can be seen during the game's intro. A likeness of Dan's tomb can be found in the village graveyard in Aetha. These cameos were disclosed on the VIP section of Primal's official website.[4]

    2003 - Ghosthunter

A character called Colonel Freddie Fortesque appears in the game. He is believed to be a descendant of and tribute to Sir Dan. Freddie is also missing his left eye and can remove his head due to being decapitated.

    2005 - WipEout Pure

    See also: Medievil (Wipeout Pure)

A ship called Medievil can be unlocked in the game upon acquiring 70 unique Gold medals.[5]

    2012 - PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

See also: The Graveyard (PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale)

Sir Daniel appears as a playable character in the game. Princess Kiya and Zarok also appear as unlockable minions. The Graveyard appears as a stage in the game.

    2018 - Guacamelee! 2

A portrait of Sir Dan can be found in the game.

    2020 - ASTRO's PLAYROOM

A bot dressed as Sir Dan can be found in the Gusty Gateway level of the Memory Meadow section of the game. He wields a sword and shield. The spin attack he performs with his sword causes his head to spin. Behind him are two PlayStation Memory Cards which act as tombstones.

2022 - God of War Ragnarök

Sir Dan is indirectly mentioned in a dialogue between Kratos and Mimir which references the events of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale:[6]

Mimir: "Brother, I've heard my share of stories about your homeland. But I'd also heard that you once fought in a tournament."
Kratos: "I fought in many contests."
Mimir: "But this particular one... I heard you did battle with beasts, scoundrels, princesses, the undead, automatons, and... history's greatest musician. That's not... that's not true, is it?"
Kratos: "I would not speak of this."
    Mimir: "Fair enough, brother."

    2023 – Clive 'N' Wrench

Clive 'N' Wrench was created by renowned MediEvil fan Rob (also known as RAWTalent) who previously worked on MediEvil fan projects such as GTA MediEvil, his own version of MediEvil III, and MediEvil: Missing Memories. Unsurprisingly, there are numerous references to MediEvil found in the game:

I was a big fan of that game and I think it needs to come back so that moment, it was just so weirdly out of place but so beautiful, are we correct in saying that’s what that was?

Absolutely, that was where Mimir asks Kratos about it. I can’t remember the exact dialogue but fighting like a chef and a princess, yeah!"
