Mr. Organ was a ghost who haunted The Hilltop Mausoleum in the late 14th century.
History
Mr. Organ was haunting the room east of the stained glass window in the Hilltop Mausoleum. A nearby book described how he was doomed to play the same chords over and over again. This was because the resident imps stole and hid his sheet music. Sir Dan, who was on a quest to stop Zarok, found the sheet music in the catacombs underneath the mausoleum. After being brought the music, Mr. Organ played a tune from it and a nearby wall disappeared to reveal the Chalice of Souls along with several treasure chests. He then vanished, laughing.
Gameplay
MediEvil (1998 original)
Mr. Organ is part of a side quest that needs to be completed in order to obtain the Chalice of Souls in the level. In order to find the Sheet Music Mr. Organ needs, Dan has to return to the catacombs underneath the mausoleum after obtaining the Moon Rune in the room with the stained glass window.
MediEvil (2019 remake)
Mr. Organ's role remains largely unchanged in the remake.
Book of Gallowmere entry
The Imps of the Hilltop Mausoleum grew tired of the phantom's incessant practice and hid his sheet music away.
Like most impish plans, this one backfired. The phantom continues to bang the keys, but sorely lacks improvisational skills.
