Vines were plant life brought to life by the dark magic of Zarok. They were most commonly found in the pumpkin valley.

Development
Concept art for the Pumpkin Gorge level shows vines (called writhing tendrils in the concept art) emerging from the ground to attack Sir Dan. In the final game, vines generally only emerge from the top.
