Flying Eyeballs[2][3][3.1] were hostile entities that inhabited Zarok's City of Madness.

    Gameplay

    Book of Gallowmere entry

Exactly what is a flying eyeball without a flying brain? And without a flying mouth, how can it possibly report what it has seen?

I suppose that must be why they simply try to incinerate you instead.

    Strategy

They are large winged eyeballs that swarm around Sir Dan and zap him with lightning. Flying Eyeballs can easily be dispatched using ranged weapons.

In the MediEvil remake, Lord Kardok summons Flying Eyeballs in Zarok's Lair.

    Behind the scenes

    Development

    MediEvil (2019 remake)

The Flying Eyeballs' lightning zap was made more powerful in the remake. Additionally, they were added to Zarok's Lair as part of the revised boss fight against Lord Kardok.

    Trivia

    • The eyeballs bear a striking resemblance to Patra, one of the bosses in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda.
