Headless Zombies were beheaded undead. They were brought to life by the evil magic of Zarok.

Gameplay

A more deranged version of the usual zombies, they will charge at Sir Dan on sight at a very high speed. They are slightly stronger than other zombies and will take longer to dispatch. The best way to be rid of these creatures is to take them down as fast as possible before they become a nuisance.

Development

In pre-release versions of the game such as the MediEvil Rolling Demo, Headless Zombies could be found in The Graveyard level. They also appeared in the Pumpkin Gorge level in the MediEvil footage featured on the PlayStation Plus Video Preview '97 VHS.
