The Mud Knights were Zarok's soldiers who died at the Battle of Gallowmere in 1286. Over hundred years later, Zarok's magic reanimate their corpses and they now roam around the sunken battlefield.

Appearance
The warriors are slender knights wearing partly-rusted armour and has a beaked helmet design reminiscent to plague doctors. They are armed with shields and battleaxes.

Development
MediEvil (1998 original)
In early pre-release versions of the game, killing the warriors will award the player with 200 points. As seen in one of the early trailers, the knights would have been encountered in the cut Muddy Riverbank level.
