The name likely refers to Cornwall. Cornwall is a ceremonial county in South West England.
Version specific differences
In the French version of MediEvil: Resurrection, Cornishwall is never mentioned. Instead, the Gorge Farmer says a rhyme about Saint Medard. The reference to Cornishwall is omitted from the German and Spanish versions of the game as well. Only the Italian version mentions Cornishwall outside of the original English version.
