Behind the scenes information
Appears in

Doppelgängers are enemies that were set to appear in The Halls of Illusion level of the original MediEvil. They were copies of Sir Daniel Fortesque. One had an angelic appearance while the other looked more like a devil. According to the game's producer, Chris Sorrell, the doppelgängers would have come out of mirrors found throughout the level to attack Dan.[1][2] However, the level was cut and they were not reused in any other level.

While the doppelgängers are not properly implemented, they can be found in the files of the MediEvil ECTS Pre-Alpha. Both only have one animation each, which pertains to their movement.
