― The Pumpkin Witch introducing herself to Sir Dan.

Wartilda,[1][1.1] more commonly known as the Pumpkin Witch, was a friendly witch of Gallowmere. She considered herself a stepmother to pumpkins and was keen on Dragon Gems.

    History

In 1286, a witch called Wartilda was recruited by her friend Noreen to help Sir Dan brew a Body Swap Potion. However, it is unknown whether this was the same Wartilda as the Pumpkin Witch.

    14th century

100 years later, Dan could summon Wartilda using the Witch Talisman when standing near her cauldron. She asked Dan to teach the Pumpkin King a lesson and promised to reward him well for it. After he had defeated the creature, she gave Dan a Dragon Gem.

Some sources claim Death revealed to Sir Dan that Wartilda was one of the four holders of a piece of the Anubis Stone. She allegedly gave her piece to Daniel as a reward for defeating the Pumpkin King. Wartilda was also said to be the sister of the Forest Witch and to have known Dan while he was alive.

    Characteristics

    Personality

Wartilda had two distinct sides to her personality: Cloying, motherly and sickeningly twee, mixed with a cunning and nasty witchiness!

According to some historical sources, she was very short tempered and hostile to Dan at first but calmed down when she realized who he was, claiming she did not recognize him.
