Wartilda,[1][1.1] more commonly known as the Pumpkin Witch, was a friendly witch of Gallowmere. She considered herself a stepmother to pumpkins and was keen on Dragon Gems.
History
13th century
In 1286, a witch called Wartilda was recruited by her friend Noreen to help Sir Dan brew a Body Swap Potion. However, it is unknown whether this was the same Wartilda as the Pumpkin Witch.
14th century
Canonical account
100 years later, Dan could summon Wartilda using the Witch Talisman when standing near her cauldron. She asked Dan to teach the Pumpkin King a lesson and promised to reward him well for it. After he had defeated the creature, she gave Dan a Dragon Gem.
