"The ruler of rats has his sights set on my darling Elephant Dragons! Repel that repulsive rodent before he sends my precious pachyderms packing!"
― Nautical Nachbaur, after being found.

Nautical Nachbaur was one of nineteen lost souls trapped inside a chest by Zarok the Sorcerer. Sir Dan freed him and laid him to rest.

Characteristics

Personality

Nachbaur generally spoke with a lot of alliteration.

Gameplay

Location

Nautical Nachbaur can be found in the Gallows Gauntlet. After passing through the archway, Dan can find him to the right of the fiery gate in the likeness of the Two Serpents.

Laying to rest

"Those villainous vermin are making their move. Rend those reprehensible rodents!"
― Nachbaur, upon being brought to the correct place.

Dan must travel to the sunken village of Mellowmede. After freezing the whirlpool, jump in and unleash the soul. Dan will encounter Derok the Rat King, who has a surprisingly large amount of health. But it will only take one strike with the Hammer to take out that vermin.

"My gentle giants are saved! You were sensational, Sir Dan!"
― Nachbaur, shortly before being laid to rest.
