Subaquatic Elephant Dragons (Subaquaticus Pachydermis Draconis[a]), or just Elephant Dragons, were creatures found only in the lakes of Gallowmere. They were a crossbreed of dragons and elephants.[3][3.1]
History
The hero of Gallowmere, Sir Dan, saw these creatures after freezing the lake in the sunken town of Mellowmede. He later returned to save them from Rat King Derok, who wanted to kill them.
Gameplay
|
The Elephant Dragons serve no real gameplay purpose and are merely a part of the game's worldbuilding. Only three of them can be encountered and they cannot be interacted with in any way. Another appears as a topiary in the Asylum Grounds.

Development
A very rough work-in-progress version of the Elephant Dragons appears in the MediEvil ECTS Pre-Alpha.

Notes
- ↑ In taxonomy, binomial nomenclature is a formal system of naming species of living things by giving each a name composed of two parts, both of which use Latin grammatical forms. Prior to the adoption of the modern binomial system of naming species in the 18th century, a scientific name consisted of a generic name combined with a specific name that was from one to several words long. Together they formed a system of polynomial nomenclature,[2] which this name would fall under, as it consists of three words rather than two.
