"Whilst you've been away I've been fiddling with explosives, these bombs can be thrown or dropped, experiment with both, but take great care or it will be you that gets blown apart."
― The Professor, after making bombs.

Bombs were a ranged weapon created by the Professor for Sir Dan using the power within a Chalice.

    History

The Professor created bombs for Sir Dan after he returned from Kew Gardens. However, it was actually Winston Chapelmount who gave them to him, because the Professor was busy building a monster.

    Gameplay

Bombs are powerful explosives that deal every type of damage. They can be thrown or they can be dropped in front of Dan. Their secondary attack will result in them being lit and thrown immediately, while the main attack will only light them at first, and must be activated again in order to drop them. Bombs are the only weapon in the game that Dan can hurt himself with, dealing 128 HP of damage to him.

Because bombs are usually obtained during the Dankenstein level, the Professor's description of them can go unheard, unless Dan misses a few chalices.

    Notes

    1. 1.0 1.1 It is possible for Dan to get any weapon from either the Professor or Winston, and in either The Professor's Lab, The Sewers, or The Time Machine level, depending on whether any chalices are missed during the game. The information in this article assumes all preceding chalices were collected.
